So do they?
I bout a few crabs and a couple of lobsters yesterday and I was thinking “do they feed these guys?”.
In the city I live in, I don’t think there is a huge market for live shell fish, so they could be in the tanks for a month or so. They must have to eat something, or do they?

No feeding, at least in the pens that I once worked around. How/what would you feed them? Lobsters (and crabs) use their claws to bring food to their mouths. How would lobsters do this with their claws banded/pegged? I certainly wouldn’t want to reach in to an unbanded lobster pit.
They assume they will have sufficient turnover to insure freshness, and lack of starvation.
Nah, a couple of days at most. If the store was only selling a lobster a month, they couldn’t justify having the tanks.
