I have a few questions if so.
Yes, but they are too smart to admit it.
We have lots of armchair neurologists and people who have had to deal with neurological challenges throughout their life.
You’re saying the questions only exist if neurologists are observed?
Sounds like you need a quantum physicist. Do we have any of those?
Sure, but even the most qualified among them don’t really understand quantum physics.
What the OP is probably after is a pseudo-scientist. Those guys know everything.
I’m neurotic. Is that close enough?
Unless you want to PM the question to someone or are only willing to discuss it with an actual neuro, as dolphinboy said, you might still get some help if you asked anyways. Could you at least tell us what it regards? Neurologists cover a pretty wide range of issues. The one I see for migraines, specializes in MS. It could be tingling in your extremities or a brain tumor. Maybe if you told us what the questions are about, you might find there’s people here that have some knowledge.
In my primary care practice, I do a lot of basic neurology, particularly involving migraines and seizures. I also treat parkinsonism, multiple sclerosis, and a few other neurologic diseases. And I expect other primary care internists and FPs here do the same. So you might just ask us, and we can share what we know.
I’m guessing it’s a short term memory dysfunction, and therefore we will hear no more from the OP on this matter.
Ask. I may just know one.
But I’m up for the free medical consultation
I’ve got tingling in the fingers and toes. No sign of diabetes or cancer, no benefit from physiotherapy, nothing on scan, and the neurologist didn’t find anything either.
How often should I have this reviewed? Is there anybody else who should review it?
I had a freaky neuro thing last winter that abruptly went away. Several times while sitting in my living room barefoot, I noticed the carpet under my left foot to be extremely hot! When I knelt down to investigate, there was no hot spot. This repeated many times over a month or so, then ceased. I’m 59 with medically controlled hypertension and health insurance (for now).
