Reading a few news articles out today, in Uganda, he risks winding up as one of the 1.7 million people there in refugee camps.
It sounds to me that, with the Uganda threat, they are almost forcing him to emigrate to Costa Rica, which seems unimpressed by U.S. claims regarding his criminality — given their pledge to accept him as an immigrant.
I’m under the impression of Costa Rica being the kind of country that a lot of Americans might want to move to, wrong as it would be to send him there.
Also spite. Never forget spite when it comes to this administration. The mistakes they made when deporting him caused them all sorts of trouble and embarrassment so they must make sure he suffers.
Yeah, the Costa Rica offer is based on the earlier statement that “there is no scenario where he ever returns to live peacefully in the USA” and presented in the terms of “confess to the world that we were right all along and you ARE a criminal who needs expelling, and we’ll expel you somewhere nice.”
Yes to “treat him nice,” no to insulting Trump, low key or otherwise. The reason for a nation to accept third country citizens, deported from the U.S. is to obtain tariff concessions from Trump. That requires flattery, not insults.
See this from Costa Rica’s English language newspaper:
I’m just hoping for that pathetic Photoshopped picture to be used again in the upcoming trial as evidence. If it’s not used by prosecution, Trump will go livid. “THAT’S PROOF HE’S MS13!!!”
If that picture is held up, side-by-side, next to his actual hands, will the cry go out that he wouldn’t have gone through all the time and pain and expense of having them half-removed if they hadn’t been damming evidence?
The POS, I mean POTUS, and the AG themselves declared multiple times to the world that he was undeniably guilty of whatever. What kind of change of venue could possibly gain this guy a somewhat fair trial?
