Do you all like the Suggested Topics feature?

I’m enjoying getting to know all the new features of the board, but one thing I am kind of iffy about is the “suggested topics” that shows up at the end of a thread. It doesn’t BOTHER me, but I do kind of feel like it’s not appropriate for a recreational board like this and takes up space. I’m curious what others think about it.

I can see it being a great feature in a board where people look for help on things, like Stack Overflow or whatever. “This thread didn’t answer your question, maybe you’ll find it in these”. But here… not so much.

After being active for a while, they will suggest the threads you are most active in. It’ll turn out a useful feature.

No.

.

I suppose I’ll get used to it. That should be everybody’s mantra right now, until things settle. I can see how it might be helpful and I can see how it would bug.

Ommmmmmmmmmmm.

I do not like the feature and would gladly trade it for pagination.

I’m pretty sure pagination is gone. That seems like a fundamental feature of the interface.

I always adblock that whole element.

I’ve had adblocker for years and never thought to use it like that. Thanks!

Not a big deal, but I don’t like the vagueness of it.

Right, that will be useful - but I’d rather that be explicit - if it’s a list of threads I have previously posted to that have unread posts, call it that. I’m generally not crazy about unspecified algorithms deciding what I might want to look at.
