Do/should the mods also report this guy to beeplog and squarespace or is it futile?
That IS a spammer – just hadn’t been discovered yet.
That is rare, usually we clear them off the boards more quickly.
No, we ban them from this board but usually don’t bother reporting them – nothing ever happens when we do.
I wouldn’t expect anything from reporting them to the places they’re spamming for, but what about reporting them to their ISPs (which could be determined from their IP addresses)?
We did report in the past but as far as we could tell, nothing ever happened.
So we stopped.
