Today was the first time I did. I can’t help but wonder why it took me this long. There’s been plenty of times I wished I had one, thanks to my love of coffee and the free pizza we get on occasion. Gum just doesn’t cut it every time. Yet, every day I would walk out of my front door and never think to grab my toothbrush and toothpaste.
So, if you do brush your teeth at work, where do you keep the brush? I have a pouch I’m going to keep in my desk drawer, cause you never know what goes on in our bathrooms.
Have you always done it? Do others think you odd? Did they use you as an example and now there are 20 toothbrushes lined up in the breakroom?
I’m a fanatic about brushing my teeth. Listerine strips in my pocketbook, and bag with toothpaste, floss, and mouthwasher under the sink in the ladies room. I think I’m the only one in my department to do this. I can’t stand stinky day-breath on anyone!
I work primarily at home, so I don’t count. But years ago I worked with this guy who kept a tube of toothpaste in his desk drawer, and everyday after lunch he would eat a small bit of toothpaste. Not brush, just unscrew the tube, squeeze a little in his mouth, swish around a bit, and swallow.
Yep. In my purse, actually, I have a little cosmetic bag, and two of the things inside are a travel toothbrush and mini toothpaste. I should move it to my desk drawer, but I’m crowded for space. During a long day involving coffee, lunch and maybe a cigarette or two it feels great to be able to brush my teeth.
