Assam/English Breakfast Tea.
`Put your eggs in water, enough to cover them an inch or two. As long as they don’t actually float to the top, they are perfectly fine to eat. (older eggs will tip upwards, those are still good)
Also, older eggs are much better for hard-boiling, because they peel easier. I prefer older eggs for frying, too, because I don’t like thick whites, I like them to spread thin in the pan, and older whites will do that more readily than super fresh eggs.
Some sort of diet lemon-lime soda. Big K (the house brand of Kroger-owned groceries) is surprisingly decent, especially compared to its colas.
