What do you have to drink?

Right now, in the fridge or in the pantry, what do you have to drink in the house? (Not counting hard liqour.)

In the 3 refrigerators around Casa Silenus, there is:

Diet Barq’s root beer
Diet A&W root beer
Diet Sunkist orange soda
Sierra Mist Free
Sprite Zero
Coke Zero
Bundaberg ginger beer
Reed’s Extra ginger beer
Stone Brewing Pale Ale
Stone IPA
Stone Ruination
Stone Arrogant Bastard
Rogue Kells Irish lager
Paulaner Original
Spaten Pils
Chamberlain Pale Ale

Bud Light
So, what do you have to offer a thirsty traveller?

Nice collection of beers.

Old Style beer and milk.
Okay, so I need to go shopping.

Water (the Brita needs refilling, actually…), milk, A&W root beer, Pepsi, and Mountain Dew. Plus diet Pepsi, diet root beer and diet 7-Up for my parents.

Chilled water
Bunnahabain
Lagavulin
Talisker
Ardbeg
Four cans of Strongbow
Milk
About a million teabags

D’oh, missed the hard liquor exclusion clause in the OP.

It’s ok…you’re Scottish.

Cold water (yay for Brita!)
Milk
Coca Cola
Seven up
Apple juice

And I can quickly mix up some iced tea, orange juice or fruit punch or brew some coffee or tea.

Cranberry juice with lime
Milk
Beer (my favorite)
Sparkling Water

I can do this because I just cleaned out and rearranged the fridge yesterday!

Cold water
Milk
Coca-Cola
Diet Coke
Diet Pepsi (why, I don’t know…we usually only buy Coca-Cola products, it was in the back of the fridge)
Lemonade
Ginger Ale
Root Beer & Cream Soda in bottles…can’t remember the brand name.
Guinness
Miller Genuine Draft
Miller Lite
(The above beers are in bottles. We also have some Miller Lite in cans. Like the Diet Pepsi, I have no idea why.)
Several varieties of coolers…I like them as a substitute for mixing drinks in the summer, so I usually have the ones flavored like specific cocktails, like Margarita or Pina Colada
Many varieties of tea
Coffee
We have a bunch of wine as well, and my husband doesn’t take much convincing to open a bottle.

I think that’s everything.

Damn, Silenus, I’m coming to your house.

We have:

Dasani (water)
Diet Pepsi and regular Pepsi
Bud Light
A&W root beer (for floats)
Maker’s Mark whisky
Kahlua
A local dessert wine

And 4 little bottles of flavored rum.

ETA: Forgot the bottle of Cactus Juice left over from last summer. And the tequila.

I had no idea we had this much booze.

In the fridge: half a 12-pack of Diet Coke

From the tap: water

Which is pretty much all I ever have. Jeez, y’all sure do have a lot of liquids.

Only two ginger beers?

Milk (Whole and 2%)
Coffee
Several (possibly more than a dozen) varieties of tea, including a few tisanes
Spaten Optimator
Paulaner Salvator
Celebrator (Yes I like dopplebock a lot)
Sam Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
Sam Smith’s Nut Brown Ale
Negra Modelo
I had a bottle of Trappiste’s Rochefort No. 8 but I drank it yesterday
Corona for the plebes

Tap water (from the well - now can you see why I drink all this beer and tea?)

Water
Propel
lemonade
Diet Coke
Diet Dr. Pepper
non-fat milk

  • Brita filtered water
  • Costco bottled water (for the car)
  • Orange Juice
  • various red wines
  • Schmitt Söhne Riesling
  • 4 bottles of IBC root beer
  • some store-brand cans of soda (I got a 24 can mix at one point, there are about half left… mostly grape and orange flavor. ew)
  • about a dozen kinds of coffee, a coffee maker, a cappuccino maker, and about 15 bottles of flavor syrup for making very tasty lattes
  • probably two dozen types of teabag
  • tons of hard liquor and various mixers, but I know the OP said not to count that so I won’t list them.

edited to add:
oh yeah, milk. But I don’t think of that as something to drink (EEEEEWWW!!!) but rather an ingredient in lattes and other foods, and something to put on cereal.

Milk.

Man, you guys sure have a lot of stuff in the fridge.

Diet Dr Pepper (2-liter bottles, for home)
Diet Dr Pepper (cans, for the car)
Milk
Bottled water

Could make coffee or any of a dozen types of tea.

What can I say? I haven’t been to Bevmo lately. I should also note that my original list should be modified by deleting the Stone IPA, as I am sipping the last of that wonderful brew right…<burp> now.

Well, not really. The 4 bottles of root beer, the OJ, the milk, and the brita water are the only things in the fridge from my list. The rest of the water and soda is in the garage, the tea and coffee are in the cabinet, and the liquor is on a shelf.
