Hmm. My entire body is ghastly pale but I have a gorgeous bronze tan underneath my ring.
Barely. During the summer I have a very obvious one, but it being both winter and right after finals week (during finals I don’t get to see the sun much), my tan has faded.
I did back when I wore one about 3 years ago.
Nope. Don’t wear one. I used to but had to take it off before every shift, so I probably wouldn’t have had a tan line in any case.
I used to have one, I remember when I first stopped wearing it and I got sunburnt on the tan line! Hurt like a bugger but not as much as the marriage
I remember having a slight color difference under the ring. I also had the dent. I’ve had it off for three weeks now and only now is the dent mostly faded. It’s still obvious under certain circumstances, and the skin is still vaguely different in appearance from the rest of the finger. I’m hoping it will fade further with time.
My finger’s totally dented - it rather looks weird without the ring on it. And I’m a pale porcelain princess plus it’s December, so I’ve no tan at the moment. If I do have one in the warmer months, I’m sure I’ve got a winner tan line there.
No tan line but an occasional dent depending on what I’ve been doing with my hands.
My ring doesn’t look anything like a wedding ring though, no engagement ring just a silver ring in a sort of wave pattern that peaks in a diamond shape.
No tan line, I’m hypervigilant about using sun screen and staying out of the sun in general.
There’s a little dent. A few months ago, I needed to wear my rings on the other hand due to an injury. It took about two days for the dent to go away. I think I ended up wearing them on my right hand for about two weeks. That wasn’t long enough to make a new dent.
I’m not putting my rings in my nose this time, though!
Not during the winter. No dent or calluses or shiny spots, either. During the summer I usually get a mild tan line. My hands swell noticeably in warmer weather (or shrink in the cold, I suppose), my rings are always a little loose in the winter and a little tight in the summer. I sometimes get dent marks then.
I have the impression of the inside of the ring with or without tan lines. It takes about a week to ten days to fade if I stop wearing my ring or move it to the other hand.
I guess it’s a tan line - it’s visible anyway - but surprised if actually a tan as I live in Scotland.
Maybe it’s dirt? But then I sleep and shower with it on the side table so I guess it must be a tan line. Weird.
Tan line and callus.
Normally I don’t because I don’t spend that much time in the sun. When I got back from Australia, which consisted of me being out in their un-ozone protected outdoors for long periods of time, I had a pronounced one.
