I just received an order from Duluth. I got a pair of insulated Alaskan Hardgear bibs, a pair of Alaskan Hardgear pants and two long sleeve tee shirts. Happy with all of it but the pants have velcro closures on the back pockets. Wish it was zippered like the front cargo pockets.
I bought the Men’s Fire Hose Superior work jacket a few years ago. It is rated as wind-proof and warm up to -5F. It is extremely comfortable and warm,
plus it has at least 10 pockets. I wish I would have bought a different color, but that is my only complaint.
I don’t recommend the underwear. Neither does my wife.
Underwear is like sex partners. What’s great for one person is terrible for another. I happily use the Buck Naked for skiing, though I’ve never bought any other Duluth Trading gear - most of it just doesn’t go with my style.
For all my public eagerly awaiting an update, since this thread is up again two years later, the t-shirts are still in very good condition after wearing once every two weeks or so, so continuing thumbs up from me.
And I still love the grab jacket that I bought after starting this thread. The underwear is fine but I still think it’s overpriced. They continue to send at least one email a day. Most everything is 25% off this time of year and you get free shipping with orders over $75.
I’m considering buying more stuff. They do make it all look interesting.
I have a pair of their hiking pants. Bought them during some phenomenal sale–they do have them now and again.
I have several polo shirts. Heavy duty knit material. Good work shirts. I wear them regularly.
Bought 2 pairs of pants made from the fire hose material. They are stiff and rough on the skin. I haven’t worn them many times. They need a cotton lining.

I see they offer the fire hose pants now in flannel lined. That should make them more comfortable to wear. If you live in frigid cold weather.
I never did get around to returning the polo I bought, so it’s still taking up room in my closet. I think; I may have taken it to Goodwill. I wore it about three or four times, but had the problems I mentioned in my post last year - not stylish, not flattering, dull color. I wouldn’t buy from them again; if I needed really hard-wearing, warm clothes, I’d buy Carhartt.
Underwear and pants, and in general I’m very impressed. Very durable and comfortable.
I was wondering–have any of you men tried Tommy John underwear? I see ads for it all the time and if you all say it’s good, I’ll buy a couple of pairs for my brothers for christmas gifts. TIA
My latest faves from DT are their Wild Boar mocs. I originally bought them for flying, but have adopted them as alternative daily shoes. Very comfy, and rugged to boot.
As I sit at the computer, a quick inventory of my current attire shows: Free Range boxers, Ballroom jeans, DT suspenders and Wild Boar mocs. The only non-DT thing I’m wearing is a Fantastic Beasts "Obliviator"t-shirt.
I have two pairs of Wild Boar Mocs. I had to add some Dr. Scholls insoles but after that I love them. Very durable and easy on/off.
I have 5 pairs of their firehouse stretch material work pants, and a bunch of their long tail pocket Ts and flannel shirts. In the years I’ve been wearing them, none of them have worn out. I usually just pick up Ts when they have one of their frequent email sales ads and when the old shirts have been stained beyond public consumption. The shirts are pretty regularly on sale for $10 each. Everything I’ve purchased from them has been durable and comfortable so it’s worth paying more.
As for underwear though, I haven’t found anything more comfortable than ex-officio boxer briefs. Barely less expensive than the Duluth underwear, but they last forever and truly are more comfortable than other underwear.
Duluth Trading’s definitely not my style, but they’ve got some of the best commercials on the air! They crack me up every time.
I’ve got one of these shirt-jackets coming in a couple of days. Can’t wait! Looks really nice, and I’m glad they come in talls.
The polo shirts have no logo and a neato pocket for my glasses.
I’ve got a bunch of stuff from them. Jackets is 3 different weights, the wild boar mocs, a few flannel shirts. Love it all. Great quality.
I’m on my second belt from them. The first lasted about 15 years of every day use.
