Do you keep your cell phone in a case/cover, or just naked?

My cell is naked. It’s a flip phone, so my chances of calling anyone by accident are pretty small, and I’m too lazy and cheap to get a decorative or protective case.

Mine’s a nekkid i870. It lives in my purse or on it’s charger.

My Razr is naked. It fits in my shirt pocket just fine.

Either/or. I have a case that clips onto my waistband or jeans pocket that I wear sometimes, if I want the phone right there. Sometimes it’s naked in my pocket or purse. It’s a flip phone, so it doesn’t really matter.

Naked. I hate phone condoms and iPod cozies. All they do is make the device bigger and bulkier. And I really hate belt holsters - they either make you look like Batman or a hopeless geek - especially on guys (women seem to have better sense) that walk around with a phone and a pager and a Crackberry and an iPod all dangling off their waist.

My phone is a RAZR that’s pretty well armored to begin with. It’s taken a trip through the laundry - if it survived the fluff and fold, it will put up with anything else.

My iPod is similarly naked, save for a piece of clear plastic cut down from a Palm “screen protector” on the display. If I peel that off, the display is pristine, but the rest of the iPod is almost theft-proof ugly with scrapes and scratches. Adding to the relative theftproofing is that it’s over three years old.

I kept my old RAZR naked as it defeated the purpose of being thin if it had a cover. I do miss how well that fit into my pocket… Now I have the iPhone with a case and when I put it in my front pocket, I’ll put my wallet in the other and walk around with big Torgo thighs.

Well my Treo 650 has a cover because otherwise I pocket (or purse) dialed my husband all the time.

My Q has a cover but I took it off because it bugs me plus sometimes I have to do a hard reboot and take the battery out. That’s already a PITA and to have to slide the neoprene cover off first is awful. So the Q is nekkid.

Why yes, I do like my gadgets. But I can stop any time. Ok maybe not, have you SEEN the Palm Centro???

Nekkid. And it likes it that way.

I have a Motorola Razr that lives in a horizontal pouch on my belt. Things in my pocket just get too beat-up. My GF’s pretty-pink Razr usually lives naked in her purse.

My iphone lives in a $10 leather compact camera case in my purse. It fits perfectly. When I use it it is naked, but I am considering buying a skin for it, as it’s a bit wide and slippery for my smallish hand.

bog-standard cheap nokia. No cover. i keep it in bags or pockets. It doesn’t appear to be too disturb by its treatment.

I have Motorola’s cheapest candybar style phone. I use a belt clip-on holster. I don’t care if it isn’t fashionable. It’s the screen that I’m concerned about–I don’t want it to get scratched. Plus I have enough stuff in my pockets already.

I have a black snap-on cover for my RAZR and also a gray. The black one used to be clear and the gray one used to be chrome-like. Yes I’m re-painting my covers, I figure what-the-hay I have leftover spray-paint and 400-grit wet/dry sandpaper. It works good.

Yes Im a dork also but Im a recycling dork
