Do you know who Lindsey Stirling is? You should.

I originally came across this wonderful specimen of a human being when searching for Dubstep + violin music. She is a trained violinist and dancer, and crosses several genres from Dubstep to rap to video game music. Speaking of video games, she has made a few tribute videos (Assassin’s Creed, Legend of Zelda) where she plays the lead and composes and performs the music for it. She was a quarterfinalist on America’s Got Talent and seriously deserved to win, in my opinion. Plus, she is super cute to boot.

I’m not going to link any individual video, just her YouTube channel, as all her videos are worth watching. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Hell yes, I do. I love love love her video in the ice castle.

I was prepared to be underwhelmed. I wasn’t. Pretty damn cool!

ETA: I watched the “Shadows” video.

Yeah, I found her a while ago via my brother’s admiration for her Skyrim collab.

I was one of the “early adopters” who found her YouTube channel and followed her on Facebook early on. I’m pleased that she’s found so much success, but DAMN she has a lot of followers now; I feel like my voice is lost in the roar.

This is one of the few acts I would pay serious money to see in concert. Sadly, it looks like she only does shows on the West Coast, and they sell out almost instantly :frowning:

She’s graced my desktop background a few times. I learned of her on another board that linked to her channel. My favorites are the Lord of Rings and Silent Night videos.

She has a second channel, Lindsey Time, for behind the scenes and other stuff.

Make sure you watch her as Link in the Zelda video too.

I subscribed to her sometime after the Zelda video but before the Skyrim one. She’s just released What Child is This for Christmas.

Not my cup of tea. Went from bored to annoyed after 4 videos. filed it under Yanni.

sorry.
