Do you own an oyster knife? Do you use it?

No, tiny little clams.

This sounds delicious. Thanks!

Live in the Midwest, but we have a seafood shop that has stock flown in fresh daily. I much prefer west coast oysters, from Oregon, Washington, and BC. Oysters to me are like wine, you can definitely taste the different flavors depending on where they are grown. Mostly prefer them with just a squirt of lemon juice or straight out of the shell. Although, If I’ve been drinking a lot, will take them each with a dash of tabasco sauce. My favorite place to get oysters is the River Oyster Bar in Miami. Happy hour oysters are $1 each. I’ve been known to go through 4 dozen there.

I like to say, “I own just about every tool there is, and two of 'em if I actually know how to use it!”, but sadly, I do not own an Oyster Knife. :frowning:

I do have a Goat Disbudder made from the stick shift of an old Fiat, however.

I own an oyster knife. I’ve used it twice. I need to improve my skill, i think.

Salt water idea is interesting.
