Do you put bumper stickers on your car?

I’ve always wanted one that says “HONK OF YOU HATE PEOPLE TOO”

I always put a couple on each car. Makes them easier to find in the parking lot.

I really want to get a “Go Metric” sticker but I don’t like the colors on this one. I might get one custom made.

My current car, which I’ve had for eight years, has never had a bumper sticker until around three days ago. I just got so pissed off at all the meaningless yellow “support our troops” ribbon stickers, Christian stickers & Jesus fish that I had to do something. So I got four bumper stickers and put them on magnetic strips. Unfortunately, my bumper is plastic or fiberglass or something so my bumper stickers are now on my tailgate. They say:

Militant Agnostic - I Don’t Know & You Don’t Either
If You’re Not Outraged, You’re Not Paying Attention
Your Silence Will Not Protect You
No, You Can’t Have My Rights, I’m Still Using Them

I got a fifth one, but my husband claimed it. It says

Dissent is the Highest Form of Patriotism. -Thomas Jefferson

Since they’re on magnets, I’ll be rotating them out at some point, when I find others I like, but for now I’m happy. I agree with a previous poster that I hope my bumper stickers give a happy moment to kindred spirits out there. It always makes me feel happy to see bumper stickers I agree with. Makes me feel less alone. (And here I supposedly live in one of the bastions of bleeding heart lefty-ism, but you’d never know it by the ratio of conservative to liberal bumper stckers.)

Never have, so I guess the answer is NO.

UNLESS YOU’RE A HEMORRHOID
GET OFF MY ASS

Sold at Spencer Gifts in malls everywhere, but the second line is red which fades away after a few weeks.

I have one of those secret Freemason things on my car. It is unnoticeable unless you know what it is.

I want a Starfleet Academy thing for the back window glass (just to cause confusion) but cannot find one during my periodic trips to the US.

Right now I have:
Doing my part to piss off the religious right
There’s too much blood in my Caffeine System
I dress this way to bother you
It’s your hell…YOU burn it in!!

But the good thing is that they all are magnetic, so I can take them off should I need to see an important client.

On my Stangmobile, I’ve got six:

1: Everyone has the right to be stupid. You’re abusing it.
2: SP’s do it at the gate.
3: SP’s do it around nukes.
4: If I’m Running, Try To Keep Up: EOD Wisdom.
5: I Love Explosives.
6: WMD Works For Me!

On my back windshield, I’ve got four 2x2 clings, one SP, one SSgt, one from my squadron, one from my wing, and in the center, a 20x25 Basic EOD Tech badge. It’s a beaut!

One.

I had it custom-made on the Internet. It read:

I MISS BILL

I have an **Amnesty International ** sticker in my back window.

I found some really funny stuff at http://awit.com/ in their bumper sticker section. The guys who run the site are sci-fi/fantasy fans, so there’s lots of Star Trek type stuff in addition to the political humor, cat/dog stuff, and so forth.

So, what does that mean?

Bill Clinton?

On my car:
[ul][li]BUCK FUSH. I have a link to my Caféshop on my homepage that shows these;[/li][li]TALK NERDY TO ME, with a separate Mac Apple next to it;[/li][li]AOPA wings. These are on the inside of the tinted window, so you really can’t see it. I should put one outside;[/li][li]A profile of a Schwiezer 300CB helicopter that I drew myself and had made at a vinyl sticker kiosk;[/li][li]Vinyll Bell JetRanger profiles with GROUP 3 AVIATION VAN NUYS AIRPORT on both rear side windows;[/li][li]FAA LICENSED PILOT license plate frame;[/li][*]A red vinyl MG octagon.[/ul]

Ahh. Duh.

Tell him what he’s won, Bob!

Just this on the back of my camper top.

(meant to reply to this last week and just noticed the thread resurrected)

I don’t think my bumper sticker will change anyone’s mind either. But I do think it’s extremely important to make people aware that other people do have opposing viewpoints and those people are often neighbors, coworkers, friends, etc. It’s often all too easy to assume that people think as you do and bumper stickers can serve as an important indicator of public sentiment.

I wish I had a car just so I could stick this sticker to its bumper.

Somewhere on my desk I have my Chicago Public Radio and Card Carrying Member of the ACLU* bumper stickers. It’s probably a good thing I don’t have a car so I can’t be tempted to attach them. Might as well get an accompanying license plate frame that reads “Snooty Liberal”.

*Which is a lie anyway. The card is just stiff paper and I’m afraid it’ll be shredded if I actually put it in my wallet.

Nothing on the bumper or trunk, don’t want to mess up the paint or deal with sticker residue, however, on the rear window i have;

left top corner “Ski Now, Work Later”
Right top corner, classic large red/white “Mad River Glen Ski it If you Can” sticker
Left bottom corner; small clear MRG sticker
Right bottom corner “Bike now, Work later”

bottom center; Apple logo sticker, but not just any Apple Logo sticker, this is the actual chrome metal logo found on the back of the iMac G4 flat-panel display housing, once i found out these were available as a service part, i ordered a set (5 stickers to a pak), far more durable, understated, and classy than the “official” white logo sticker that tends to dry out and flake off after 3 years in the sun… the metal Apple logo sticker ain’t goin’ anywhere, i also put one on Mom’s Subie Forrester, now if i could just figure out where to put the other three, wonder if they’ll fit on my bicycles…
