I do a great deal of puttering around in a normal week. Lately, I’ve been slammed and haven’t gotten in my usual puttering time, and it’s made me cranky, frankly. I love puttering.
I always assumed you were male, because of the “bear” in the name.
That’s all I’ve been doing this weekend… work has me scheduled for a 4-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday…

To me “puttering around” involves some small tasks getting done. “Futzing around” is a complete waste of time. It is the illusion that something is getting done.
