Do you regularly post in other message boards?

I’ve posted to FM myself, but I mostly hang out on the private WotC board zette set up there. Same username.

I also hang out on the Wizards of the Coast messageboards and lurk on the ENWorld boards. Both are for D&D.

I occasionally read Gamespy’s boards, but usually only to check out what someone said about a game I reviewed.

Lots of boards I may go to as needed, such as boards for specific computer games when I’m stuck.

Oh, and then there’s our private messageboard, but you can’t even get to it without an account. Only about a dozen people on it, most of whom belong to our D&D group.

Nope. I’ve looked at a few boards since joining this one, and I just can’t deal. We have a lovely standard of intelligence, grammar and spelling here, as well as a wonderful troll policy.

I’m spoiled.

I post regularly at www.frenzforum.com which is a forum devoted to the discussion of anthing related to with music groups split enz, crowded house, enzso, and all related people and bands.

I run a couple of serious mailing lists that have high volume and Leechbabe and I set up The Playpen message board a little while ago so I am there quite a lot too.

I frequently post to other message boards- and SDMB is often the source for my inspiration. That isn’t stealing, is it?

Surely a board devoted to fighting ignorance would be in favor of people freely sharing information.

Seriously, LaurAnge is right - in fact, this might even be the best message board ever.

I used to post extensively at AquaLink, a message board for aquarium enthusiasts. After taking down my tanks for University, I haven’t been there much.

I’m also a heavy newsgroup user, though I tend to read more than post.

I run an urban-planning related vBulletin-based forum at http://www.cyburbia.org/forums/ . The board will hit the 100,000 post mark in the next few days.

There’s also Unaboard every so often. I lurk on Ars Technica.

I was banned from Way Too Personal a couple of years ago.

I regularly post here and on genmay (General Mayhem). I fluctuate (over periods of weeks/months) between wanting intellectually stimulating conversation and wanting more, well, genmay-like conversation, and that determines which board I post more on at any particular time. Also, people can’t talk as much about drugs here as on genmay, which sometimes means I’d rather be here and sometimes means I’d rather be there.

Oh, and I signed up for a Fark account a few days ago too, although they never sent me a confirmation email.

Speaking of Fark, I have account #137. I was one of the first.

This is my 4th board. The others are Peegs.com, which is an Indiana University basketball site, Fark.com, and NorthSideBaseball.com, which is a Cubs message board.

I am profundly embarrased to say that I spend most of my time at http://www.go-gaia.com . It’s the avatars.

I post intermittently (under a different name) on Motley Fool’s U.K. website, have racked up about 300 posts in three years of membership.

Nope never, this is my one and only…and frankly I wish I could wean myself of this one some. I should be out tilling my garden right now. The type of work I do leaves me alone most of the time and this is really my only outlet to speak with folks about things I’m interested in.
You guys can really be a pain in the ass sometimes, but I loves ya anyways…and I wouldn’t cheat on y’all neither.

I guess I got lucky. This was the first message board I ran across. I lurked awhile and then the “winter of our missed content” ran me off for awhile. I came back after the hamsters went off strike and I joined up. I’ve visited a few other boards due to links posted here, but they all paled in comparison. So, there you have it. See ya round the boards.
