I don’t but Princess, my 11#, 7 year old Shih Tzu skips every now and then. Sometimes because of a line in the pavement or walkway and sometimes just to be doing so.

I do fly sometimes…hold my arms out on windy days and pretend I’m flying. Don’t tell.

Zoe: I find that flying works very well at night whilst wearing tails. I’d imagine a cape would be better still, but I don’t have one.

I skipped recently, and hopped up and down.
I’d seen a little kid do it in the mall coming toward me, and so I mirrored her. She got a huge giggle fit out of it.
I love to skip, but then again I make up little songs to sing to myself while I do it. And I don’t even have kids to blame it on

In the meantime, if you want to warm up with a more discreet yet incredibly childish alternative perambulation, I offer the following which I discovered a few weeks ago.
Buy two half-liter bottles of coke (or beverage of your choice). When placed in the side pockets of your jacket, caps outward, they make excellent motorbike handles. Grasp a bottleneck in each hand, rev them a little and off you go. Leading with your pelvis makes it feel like you are going faster, and it is vital that you make brrrrrrrr-noises with your lips for the engine sound.

I skip every so often. I’ve even been known to jump and click my heels. I’m an 18 year-old male.

I am 27 male and I like to skip too, but i dont do it often cos it’s kinda regarded as a gay thing to do. But it’s great fun, and good excersise as well!

but I twirl way more often than I skip. I try to do both when people aren’t looking.
I do it when I’m with other people who walk fast, because I can’t keep up otherwise…I’ve only got little legs sulk

I forgot to mention age and gender in my earlier post: I am 20 and female. I’ll be 21 in about three weeks. People my age who jump and click their heels are probably the type of people I’d like to hang out with…
I skip at work and with my kids when playing. I do the happy hamster dance more often at work, when I solve some tough problem. Occassionaly I click my heels but I generally land off balance.

I do it at random times to make people laugh.
I’m proud of being able to skip. I couldn’t do it (was too un-coordinated) until I was well past the time that skipping was considered age-appropriate activity.

I love skipping, though I don’t do it as often as I’d like. Though, IMO the best thing to do as well as skipping is jumping in puddles… oh they are my two joys in life!! I get some funny looks, but it’s so much fun
