Do you still have all of your orginial, factory-installed parts?

So are we counting the teeth that you don’t naturally lose? Because I’ve had a -4 WIS penalty for the last couple of years.

Other than that… I had some infected chunks taken out of my ankle. Still got a few dents there to this day.

gallbladder and teeth (I just need to get implants>doc talks about a new liver in the next 5-10 years ……

Unless you’re some freak of nature, chicken pieces aren’t OEM equipment in a human. Usually people get chunks of poorly-chewed steak caught there, giving the condition the name “Steakhouse Syndrome”

Odd that your doc said “ewww” about pictures - at my last upper endoscopy and colonoscopy (cameras in both ends - whee!) I got a lovely parting gift of several pages of color photos.

The usual tonsils and foreskin.
Later the gallbladder, eye lenses with replacement.
Cartilage seems to have departed, been absorbed, excreted. Mostly gone from left knee and ankle. Had some mesh added during hernia repair. All about average for a geezer.

Nope.

Missing teeth - all the wisdoms (most never grew in, two were impacted), three or four molars that broke due to medication-induced dental problems and a period of time seeing an exceptionally inept dentist - and some actually unnecessary abdominal bits have also been taken out.

I do have some extra bits added, though, since I’ve had both ankles repaired due to hypermobile joints, so maybe that balances things out a bit. And I’ve had a bit of stuff shuffled about in my wrist (had a tendon reinforced with a flap of tissue taken from elsewhere in the wrist) so I can honestly say some bits of me are in the wrong order!

Reading through this thread is too funny. You’d think I’d have this list off the top of my head, but I keep remembering things as I scan down.

First things I thought of were the standard tonsils and appendix. Then somebody mentioned adenoids, and yes, those went with the tonsils.

I’m still unclear as to whether the four wisdom teeth count.

There was also a bit of tissue connecting my top lip to the space between my two front teeth. That was taken out when I was little.

Then I think I’m done, but no, somebody says “moles” and yes, I’ve had a couple of over-achieving moles removed as well. Also one pre-cancerous lesion, but that was not factory installed, it was a self-patching mechanism gone wrong.

There was also the internal scar tissue from the appendectomy, (removed along with some wandering uterine tissue) but again, that was all after-market equipment.

I’m sure I’m still forgetting something.

I’ve also got a pinky toe I’m ready to chop right the ^#@! off if it doesn’t stop hurting me soon. Argh!

I’m down one gallbladder and 4 wisdom teeth.

A couple of other teeth have been upgraded (extraction / implant). Also looking at upgrading one or both eye lenses in the very near future.

Some nasal tissue (turbinate bone and possibly polyps) though those were aftermarket additions, so I don’t think they count.

Tonsils: There was a time where I’d have happily had mine yanked - kept getting sore throats that responded to antibioitics but never tested positive for strep (as in, I’d go on a course, the throat would get better, and 2 days after the antibiotics, it would come right back). We never figured out what was going on there. A friend’s daughter did just have hers out - in her case, recurrent nasty tonsil stones. I think she was shocked at how miserable the recovery turned out to be.

My oldest brother had pretty bad “buck teeth” and went through a lot of orthodontia - and he did have a couple of teeth yanked (this would have been in the 1960s). I think they do more with palate expanders nowadays: both my kids had those.

This vehicle contains all original parts.
Condition of parts not to be guaranteed though
Bodyfax reports major collision events.

Mine are restricted to teeth, none of which have been replaced as yet. One of my milk teeth was never replaced by a permanent one after it fell out; another didn’t fall out itself but the root disintegrated and it became loose; I finally had to have it removed this winter. Prior to that, I had had one of my wisdom teeth, which was broken, removed. I have one other wisdom tooth that may have to come out later too (my top wisdom teeth never came in).

Thankfully, in the place where I was born was not one where the perverse quackery that is routine infant circumcision is practiced.

On the other hand, my wife, Pepper Mill, has had a bunch of parts removed, starting with an unwanted cyst. I don’t feel free to discuss the work she’s had done, but none of it shows. Unlike me and a lot of folks in my generation, she still has her factory-installed tonsils.

Add to that list: my aortic valve, four of my coronary arteries and the lenses of both of my eyes.

Updating the list to include my sigmoid colon, removed two months ago.

No gallbladder and wisdom teeth. Plus I lost 4 teeth before I got braces since my mouth was too crowded.

Missing: Tonsils, appendix, 4 wisdom teeth and three others. Curiously, I was born sans foreskin. Most of my headhair (see caricature).

Added: piece of titanium in right ankle, pacemaker.

Pretty much the same set as CalMeacham, and in the same order. I technically still have my left ACL. It just is in several non-connected pieces. I didn’t just tear it 30 years ago - I destroyed it.

I am only missing foreskin. I have never even had a tooth pulled and still have the wisdom teeth (only 3 came in). One of them is targeted for removal at some point so my dentist can do some work on the tooth in front of it. My only surgery was as a kid to repair a congenital hernia (but I assume nothing was removed). I am not sure to count hair loss. I’m 53.

I don’t think a cyst counts as a factory-installed part.

I’m down seven teeth - four wisdom teeth, two removed to make room for braces to work - and one that died (fortunately you cannot tell I’m that short of teeth) and a foreskin. Nothing added. Not bad for 49.

That’s what the manufacturer will argue if you try to complain at least.

I have all my parts, a few teeth excluded.

Only thing I’ve had removed is my gall bladder. Everything else is still present.
