While I prefer to let someone else do the honors, as of late, I’ve had to take care of it myself. Most of the time, I keep myself tidy with a regular trim (it gets in the way too much if I don’t!), but every once-in-awhile, I decide to shave it all away, clean and smooth. I’ve been told that it’s a bit of a turn on to see me that way. 
I keep it trimmed, go fully bald about every 6 months or so-but since there’s not been anyone lately who wants to play-or who I want to play-with Gertrude, she’s not had a trim in a while.

callie, if you’re looking for a guy’s perspective on pros and cons, here’s mine. Few things turn me off like a woman who has never set razor to herself down there. Not only does it look bad, but I’ve found it actually gets in the way during the act. And I actually have a hard time understanding the mindset of a woman who is against shaving (this goes for underarms and legs too).
OTOH, few things turn me on more (attitude as well as physical appearance) than a woman who keeps herself well trimmed and smooth.

Flyboy - thanks for your opinion - I think. Weren’t you the one I called brainwashed in that other thread about women shaving legs and pits? So, lets not go there right now. Um, anyway, I guess I can pretty much guess how the guys might feel about it. Although any opposing views in that area would also be appreciated. Guess what I’m really looking for here is the female prospective. Has there been any problems with ingrown hairs? (ouch!)Is there a secret on how to keep that from happening?

Maybe part of the problem is that you call it “Gertude” instead of “my hoo ha”…Gertrude sounds kinda, I dunno, spinster-ish…
Well, my ex that started the tradition told me that when he was done, he had to “make sure everything still worked all right”. So along with making sure that no spots are missed (I only wish I was that flexible!), I also get a little fun out of the deal, too! Definite plus for having someone else do the honors!

Usually fully shaved…at worst very short. I’ve noticed that guys are more apt to go pearl diving when there’s not a lot of seaweed in the way.
I do insist my men keep it trimmed…nothing worse than sticking your face in a brillo pad…ugh. I have used the clippers on a man before…once you tell them what you’ll do afterwards they ALWAYS agree.
A guy friend told me that if a girl keeps her trim up it helps a man maintain-without the hairs tickling a man can hold out longer…is this true?

A few gray hairs there make me want to shave it, shave it ALL! I have to admit I like the way it feels this way too.
As a side note…I much prefer TurboDog shaved (or any guy, the way he shaves). Somehow, unshorn balls seem to retain that “horny billy goat” smell/taste.(Well, I wouldn’t know how a "horny billy goat smells/tastes…but ball sweat is not pleasant) ICK. Give me a nice clean, smooth pair to suck on instead!
As for women, I know I don’t like walking around for days, feeling as though I need to hack up a hairball, so I try to return the favor

As of late, I have taken the advice of long time mentor Ron Jeremy and have started trimming down. It’s gonna take someone who is willing to go down there for me to shave it all.
