I was looking through my attic the other day and I found a whole big bag of attention that I had forgotten all about. So, I thought, since I have all the attention I need right now, why don’t I do the charitable thing and give all this attention to someone who is desperately in need of it. Someone who is so pitifully in need that they are willing to go to great lengths to get even a meager smidgen of attention. The kind of person whose antics in search of a daily crumb of attention makes you sad, thinking about the kind of life, or absence of one that poor soul must have.

Hentor, your post inspired me to have a look and see how much attention I might have lying around going unused. I’ve come up with a shoe box just stuffed with attention. There’s also some ashy looking stuff in there that may be the remains of the overly inflated ego of a jerkwad I once had the misfortune to date but it’s not much (like its owner) and can be easily overlooked. I found a gallon-sized mayonnaise jar about half way full of attention too. Altogether, it’s not that much but if 2.5 wants it, he’s more than welcome to it. I’ll even pay the postage.

2.5 inches. I believe you’ve collected 2 warnings now (as well as a handful of closed threads), the third one is usually a bitch, but I will continue to campaign for your acceptance even as bizarre as you appear to be.

My advice to you would be to find a niche here. Some people call them cliques, but that denotes some form of exclusion which I do not detect. There are a lot of cool and diverse people who probably share a couple of your favorite interests here. You told us you like movies, reading, politics, some sports, and there are probably a couple people who have the same job as you here.

Browsing this thread I see jsgoddess who also enjoys poetry, **silenus **who turned me on to Whedon, Cluricaun who also has 3 dozen recipes for yak jizz, lissenner who enjoys film, labelless a fellow mmper, what exit a smart baseball fan, and a beautiful woman nzinga seated. Basically because he’s behaving like an attention whore. Plus we had a previous troll who pulled almost exactly the same move before being banned on his last day a few months ago.
