A late bump, since everyone seems to have missed the questions in the last post.
Use of shampoos, soaps, and other cleansing agents can, potentially, change the pH of the crotch region which may make the environment more favorable to certain bacteria or fungi that can then go on to cause a UTI. Whether or not a UTI will actually result depends on the cleaner, quantity used, vulnerability of the individual to UTI’s and probably other factors I haven’t thought of on the fly.
So, if you’re prone to UTI’s you need to use some caution in cleaning the area (but also need to keep the area clean). Some people it doesn’t seem to matter.
Conditioner seems excessive. Soap, yes. I was taught that the external genitals should get nice and soapy every time I shower.
