Do you you support the war? By sex and age this time.

@newcrasher
Its nothing against any individual, and I am not judging you at all. Its just a irrational dislike off americans, nothing to change about it. You know, sometimes people really are irrational human beings. Its probably mostly my image off america that I got from movies, which is why its irrational, any logical conclusion would be that I have to little data to make any sort off conclusion.

Iraq- No.

Afghanistan- Might of, if it had been properly staffed, funded, and handled from the begining. As it is now, cluster-fecked to the point where Taliban are returning in droves, No.

When the rumblings began about an invasion of Iraq, I couldn’t believe they were serious. I wondered how a guy in middle America with no experience in governmental or foreign affairs (me) could clearly see that it was wrong on so many levels. I thought surely they know something I don’t. I was proven right about my initial thoughts and wrong on the whole Washingtonians knowing more than I do thing.

Well, this thread has nothing to do with the love of America, or anything you are mentioning. Start another thread if you like.

Stop voting them in then!

I don’t disagree w/ your sentiment, but on the other hand you might want to check your own back yard first. :rolleyes:

Hey most of us on this board didn’t. You know that.

  1. Afghanistan - yes. Iraq - hell no. Now, if they would have gone into Saudi Arabia, where most of the 9/11 hijackers were actually from, instead of trying to implicate Iraq in 9/11 as an excuse to invade, yeah I probably would have gone along with it.

Yeah. Of the voting public, 51 % voted for him. 49 % didn’t. We’re trying, man.

War, no. For a competently carried out peacekeeping effort, however, I would give several limbs. Preferably not my own.

You’re British right? Are there, by chance, any British troops participating in the war in Iraq?

Afghanistan - Perhaps

Iraq - No!

Less of the kneejerk tu quoque lads. I was addressing a post about the US government, not the UK one. If it had been about mine, I’d have responded similarly.

Afghanistan yes, Iraq no
