Wow, the time has just flown by. Almost 3 years ago and almost 1000 posts I have spent here in the good ol’ SDMB. I was just a shy, young lurker back in those days. A random website on Creationism lead me to a debate in GD. After reading the first 4 pages, I was hooked!
'course back in those days subscriptions were free, and we always thought they would be. We were all so young and naive!
Back then Aldebaran was just a young, cynical, American hater. Oh but the threads he started! So much fun, gone so fast.
What I have been doing with my time on the SDMB? Have I fought the good fight? Slain some some ignorance? No, probably not. But some ignorance in me has been slain, and this place has definitely made me more critical of wild claims and helped to me see more than my side of anything.
But, personal growth aside, what I have I done? Well, glad you asked! Being the not very productive worker today I came up with these little tidbits of my time here.
