Y’know I happened to be skimming through this thread and something occurred to me that might just be a coincidence, or not. I haven’t seen this floated anywhere else on the internetz, so that I thought I’d toss it out there. Anyway…
River Song first met the Doctor in an episode called “Silence in the Library.” She also says that sometime in the Doctor’s future she murders a man, and it is subtly implied that it may be the Doctor. Could it be that River IS “the Silence”?
