Does a reproach of a moderator before one edits counts as warning?

Just curious, I realized on time an item I said was not correct agains a poster, then even when I edited the thing I got the warning, since the thing is there now for all to see on the moderator’s warning, doest it mean the warning stands even though the post was corrected?

At the bottom. And I do apologize once again for that, so the **tomndebb ** warning with my post that I realized should not be there will remain there now?

I cannot and will not speak for tomndebb, but it’s my understanding that if a moderator intends for a a rebuke to be an official warning, he will note it as such.

Darn I did it again, I did not notice your post before correcting, I mention that because I do swear I did correct the post before I got the warning from tom.

Q.E.D. I do remember that, so my main concern now is that the reproach included the bit I wanted to remove, defeating the edit purpose.

The only person who can answer your question authoritatively is tomndebb, so ask him directly via email.

BWAHAHAHA! If this flies, I’ll be able to call everyone in GD a jerk for a glorious 4 minutes 59 seconds of impunity with every post. Soon the whole forum will weep bitter bitter tears. That’ll teach you all to disagree with Malodorous.

Your foul fiendish plan will be foiled fortunately by fortuitous time-outs that prevent your last second edits.

Deleted expletive.

I don’t see any “official warning” to you in tom’s post. Nor has any official warning to you been recorded where we keep track of such things.

Not every comment a moderator makes counts as an official warning. Normally if an official warning is given that will be stated clearly.

If you want to be completely sure about tom’s intent though, e-mail him directly. He may not have noticed this thread.

That’s just great, another database to hack into.
