Does a simulated time-lapsed evolution video exist?

By the question in the title I mean is there a video that starts with an early shrew-like mammal (or any other starting point- such as a lobe-finned fish or something), and based on the fossil and genetic evidence we have, slowly CGI-morphed it through the “intermediate” forms that we have a pretty good idea of all the way to a human?

That seems like it would be very cool, if it exists- and if it doesn’t, someone should do it.

Even cooler would be such a video side-by-side with a similar video that ends in a dog, or cat, or bird, etc; with a timeline, that would visually show when the various creatures’ ancestry diverged.

While we wait, here’s a non-serious version in reverse.

There was a sequence like that in the Carl Sagan Cosmos series in the 80’s. We have the DVD set that was released more recently. One of the all-time best series of its type.

I’m not sure which series it was but a recent History Channel or H2 show had a similar sequence.

Here’s the evolution sequence from Cosmos.
