This mundane, pointless thought crossed my mind, and I was wondering where I might share it.

And lo!

So, would an older, working-class layabout in Teesside carry a mobile phone these days? A prepaid flip phone that he’s constantly begging Florrie to top up? A smartphone he got hold of via some perhaps murky circumstances? Something else?

Of course Any Capp has a burner phone. How else would he keep in touch with his bookie and his girlfriends?
