And in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series, Klatch is a Arabic/African/Indian sort of place known for their dangerously strong coffee. I don’t know if that was an intentional joke or not…
A “coffee klatsch” was not an uncommon expression as I grew up in the 1950’s. It even was uttered by Jimmy Cagney in Yankee Doodle Dandy in 1942, ``This war is a coffee klatsch compared to what I go through in the course of a musical show.". His audience certainly knew what it meant.
I vote for “Arts & Entertainment.” I think it’s much more descriptive of the actual content of the forum. The current name sounds a little too snobbish for me.
