I couldn’t figure out how best to package the dusty can of Tab I found in a convenience store about five years ago, and I’m thinking of keeping it as something of an heirloom, so it didn’t make the cut.

My package should be making its way to the tanookie household. I predict it will be delivered by a person driving a big brown truck. The nice guy at the mailbox place said it should be there by Monday (didn’t send it till late this afternoon).
This is fun! I think I did a pretty good job for a first-timer, but I’m already thinking about collecting stuff for next year.

When we were taking the package to the post office yesterday, Hallboy (who helped me pick out the stuff and pack it) asked who it was going to and why, so I spent a few minutes confusing the poor kid with an explaination. “But WHY are we sending it?” he asked. “Um…'cause it’s fun,” I replied. “Will we get one?” he asked. “I hope so,” I told him. That seemed to satisfy him.
I can’t wait. This is almost as good a Christmas.
In case anyone is panicing - I - The White Elephant Queen, will not be sending out my package until this weekend, so don’t freak out if your goodies have not yet been mailed.
I have started to carefully select items to include. BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
PS - Don’t anyone panic if they don’t receive a package in the next week or two - I think I said a month was OK - so no complaining until after about Oct 15th. 
My package is in the hands of the US Postal Service. Turns out First class and Priority cost the same, so it went Priority. With luck, it will arrive on Friday. I re-Elephanted at least one item…

Mine will be going out today. I must regret to inform you, I tried to pack chocolate in there, but it melted, and then I had to clean up the chocolate smudges. So if you have smudges on your stuff, sorry, just lick it off. It’s not poop but chocolatr.

It’s funny…I was so excited about sending crap to someone that I nearly forgot I was going to get some crap, too. Now I’ll be waiting for mail carrier.
I think that my recipient will be getting something today, since they aren’t too far away and I mailed it priority on Monday. Eeee!
