Although Michaela is the grandest child ever to grace the planet (IMNSHO), she has recently begun displaying some behaviors that have me and kaylasmom concerned. Nothing of a health and safety nature, understand, but it is rather personal, and I hope you’ll forgive my not wishing to share the details here.
Can anyone help me out with a link to a website that addresses behavioral issues with primary-grade children (she’s six years old)? Thanks in advance.
Six is an Age of Rebellion, like Two and Sixteen.
Does that help?
Assuming Kayla isn’t psychotic–I mean, thanx for the linx, Rata, but mebbe she’s just growing up and doesn’t need meds…
Parent Soup is a good general-purpose website. “Elementary Kids” page.
http://www.parentsoup.com/elementary
http://www.parents.com/ is the online version of the magazine, and it tends towards the even more general, but every so often they have something that helps.
If you’re just sitting there doing computer anyway, browsing…Get out the Cheetos and the Dr. Pepper and settle in with beaucoups du linques…

Having dealt with a smorgasbord of behavioural issues, drop me an email if you think I could be of any use.
6 was the year with P the Elder where the shit really hit the fan.
Thanks, DDG, I think that should get me where I want to go.
Thank you also, ratatoskK; my OP couldn’t have screened out the need for those, but thankfully, we’re not nearly at that level yet.
Prima, thank you as well; I just might take you up on your offer. If I do, the Sender name will include the string jazz, and the subject line will include kaylasdad.
Yah, Six was the year all three of my kids made me look at them and go, “W…TF?”
And then, “Whyyyyy?”

This too shall pass, Daddy-O.
