What I’m really interested in is if that design is more comfortable than standard frames. Sometimes I feel like my ears could use a rest from my glasses.
If your ears hurt, you should go to your optician for an adjustment. I’ve had frames that were too short before, and they dug into my ears a bit. The optician had to re-bend the curve several times to get them just right. In any case, those frames in the pic look anything but comfortable to me.
It looks like going around all day with a cat clinging to the front of your face.
But in a good way.
I think it would be less uncomfortable than piercing your nose and having them hang by that.
I’ll never understand the American obsession with bulky plastic glasses. Haven’t you people heard of wire frames?

Wire frames were huuuuge in the 90s and early 2000s. The trend has shifted back to plastic. It’ll shift back again sooner or later.

Meant to add… The origins of the design were for people with funky shaped faces due to horrors such as burns or cancer.
