I thought it was obvious. Clearly, it means “Hys Ufpog Din”. What’s so difficult about that?
The first thing I thought was “I hope you’re satisfied, you fucking piece of goddamn ??? ???”. But on reading the thread “Y= you’re” and “u = you” doesn’t make sense. cough I’ll be going now.

If he later comitted suicide he may have received this button at a help organization. Perhaps he gave it to her when he decided to go through with, so he didn’t need the positive message.
On another thought, he may have done this for this very reason. If it is in fact home-made, it may mean nothing. Perhaps the only purpose the button serves is to act as a mystery to which there is no solution, therby remaining a mystery forever.

Here we are 15 years later, on the internet (something very few of us could have imagined back then) talking about the meaning of this mysterious pin. Perhaps it means nothing, it’s only purpose to get us talking about it, and trying to figure it out. Maybe it’s his way of being remembered if he decided he was going to end it all.
