Snoopy, of course. That’s really the only proper Happy Dance that there is, you know.
The dance that baby character used to do on that old lawyer show Ally McBeal to the tune of Blue Swede’s Hooked On A Feeling. Is that weird?
(Can’t believe I used to watch that series! Song’s nice, though.)
For all you Snoopy lovers:
I picture Coop from Baseketball doing it and singing, I’m doin’ the happy dance. I’m doin’ the happy dance.
I picture the dance of joy from an episode of Angel that was mentioned earlier. I think it beats out all the other happy dances for ridiculousness. At least when I’m doing it.
My personal happy dance looks a lot like the Happy Gopher Dance at the end of Caddyshack. Sit up straight and smile, elbows bent so your hands are at bust-level. And wiggle around a bit. Apparently I do this whenever I get particularly good food, my friends call it RealName’s Happy Food Dance. Sometimes I don’t realize I’m doing it until they point it out to me.

The Official Happy Dance[sup]TM[/sup] * officially recogized by my strange mind*
1.) Imagine holding two maracas.
2.) Lock arms in right angle position with elbows pointing 45 degrees away from body.
3.) Slightly lower eyebrows and pout (as if concentrating)
4.) Shake the “maracas” keeping arms somewhat stiff and in position. Shake twice to left, then twice to right.
5.) Repeat stage 4 until satisfied.
