The laptop has something that looks like a IR window at the back, but I can’t find an IR port at the Windows Device Manager. Is it a problem with drivers? (No unknown devices in Device manager).
Under interfaces:
Check the MB BIOS under the IO section. The IR is often set to “off” by default.
