I keep seeing this ad that advertises a spray that will instantly dissolve hair on contact, allowing one to simply wipe away unwanted hair. Can this possibly be true? Why doesn’t it dissolve your skin?
The same reason Nair doesn’t melt off your legs. It’s a depillitator, (sp?) it’s not a volatile acid. I don’t know if it actually works, I’ve wondered because Nair doesn’t work for me.
It doesn’t dissolve it instantly. The commercial only makes it seem that way. You have to let it sit.
You will notice it is one scene where they spray it and another cut when they wipe it off.
My question is does it really dissolve it at the root. Or is it a $30.00 bottle of Nair.
Another thing they show it on a guys face. I tried NAIR on my face. BIG MISTAKE!!!
It’s like NADS it works great IF you hairs are long. It doesn’t work on short hairs at all.
But it clearly leads you to believe it does.
I bought the full kit about a month ago-the sprays, roll-on, lotion,the whole bit. My wife and I have since tried it in a variety of locations on our persons (and I’m NOT gonna tell you where) and decided that it’s a less-irritating version of Nair. You have to leave it on for a LONG time, though-the label says 5-10 min, but I tried 20 on a test area and it worked better. I found that it a) works better on longer hair than short and b) if you shave the area after application, it works better than either shaving or the depillatory alone. Don’t use it two days in a row if it didn’t get all the hair, though. It’s basically an acid and you can get nasty chemical burns. I’ve tried the Nad’s stuff, and it’s useless. Sticky, expensive and inconvenient. I just usually shave what I want shaved in the shower. Works better and it’s cheaper in the long run.
I got this picture of a mugger using this stuff as a weapon.

Nads DOES work and it is good but it WILL NOT remove short hairs. So since most peole have short AND long hairs you still have to shave the short ones off.
But unless you let them grow out LONG it won’t work.
