Have you ever experienced love that has happened completely out of the blue? Does it happen like that? It’s happened to me twice. In my experience it happens best when one doesn’t think about getting into relationships and having a g/f

The reason love tends to occur when we are not looking for it is because when we are actively seeking romance we are concentrating on ourselves: “What do I look like?” “What do they think of me?” “What’s a witty thing I can say?” “Am I falling in love?” Because we are so focused on ourselves and what we feel, we really aren’t paying attention to the people we are following, so we never really get to know them: we see only our own preconceptions, insecurities, and wishful thoughts projected onto them, covering up their real personalities. When we aren’t “looking for love”, we see real people and we are open to the amazment that comes from discovering someone different and new.
Also, desperate people are unattractive.

I think love can happen right out of the blue. However, to sustain a relationship, conscious choices and decisions must be made. IOW, if you’re looking for the simple fact that you’re in love with someone to make a relationship work, then heartache is very likely to happen just as suddenly as love did!
i noticed tho, back when i was single, when i was between boyfriends so to speak, nobody was interested. once i connected with one, offers were coming out of the woodwork. i think it had to do with once i was with the b/f i was happy and it showed, made me more attractive somehow.
