One of the problems I have (in understanding why people fall for $cientology), are its absurd claims (for those who reach its “upper levels”).
From what I read, if you become a "high level’ clear, you are able to manipulate “MEST”-Matter, energy, time, and space. Sounds like God-like powers to me. So whay hasn’t $cientology ever demonstrated somebody with these powers? Tom Cruise-he can’t even convince ME to watch one of his crappy movies! :smack:

The factual answer to your question is that they don’t demonstrate somebody with these powers because the powers do not exist.
Yes, they make that claim. Therefore, a single OT (Operating Thetan, a fully Clear individual) should be able to destroy not only all critics like me, but end all of the world’s problems and turn this place into a paradise.
I believe we are all able to manipulate matter, energy and space (just by existing), although I am not so sure about being able to manipulate time, on that one I think we are along for the ride.
Any human being can manipulate matter, energy, and space. Poke something with a stick, and you’re done.
Time is a bit more tricky.
So…no one made it to those levels?
