Does this app/web site exist (weather-related)?

My wife and I like to travel. Since her retirement we’ve been taking a number of road trips, and we’ve been doing a couple (or more) cruises per year. The point is that a lot of our travel involves multiple destinations within one trip, over a relatively short span of time.

Is there an app or web page that can, in one place, show weather forecasts for a trip, or for multiple cities/locales, all in one place and in chronological order? We would find this particularly useful for packing. My Google Fu is generally pretty strong, but I haven’t been able to find anything. As it stands, I do individual weather forecasts on weather.com, screenshot the applicable days, and then string them all together in an email I send to my wife so she knows what to prep for.

If anyone here is a programmer for Tripit.com, this would be a nice feature to integrate into the app.

I don’t know if this fits what you’re looking for, but using the built-in Weather app on the iPhone (and I would assume Android), you can add all of the cities you are planning to visit and then organize the cities in the order you are visiting them.

So if you’re going to Washington, DC, then Baltimore, then Philadelphia, just add those cities to your weather app and then use the list view so you can see that

Washington, DC 27 degrees
Baltimore 27 degrees
Philadelphia 26 degrees

I think Tripit already does this within 10 days of your travel: Weather display : TripIt

Edit: It’s only on the app or legacy web app though.

There are also a few standalone websites if you search for “trip weather along a route”.

If none of those work for ya, post a sample iterinary here (in the format that you usually make them in) and I’ll try to make you a web page that can do this.

Weird. I’ve been using Tripit for years, and never noticed this - thanks for pointing this out. It’s not located in the most convenient place, but it’s there in the old web page. It’s not showing up in my mobile app, but that’s probably just a setting I need to change.

Apparently, my Google skills aren’t what I thought they were. Lots of good road trip planning sites. Thanks!

Heh, it’s not just you! I think I actually had the same confusion a few months ago when planning a trip there. I briefly saw the weather SOMEWHERE, thought it was useful, but then couldn’t find it the next time

In fact I thought to myself “I could swear TripIt had this…” but couldn’t find it when I logged in. They must’ve upgraded me to the “new” interface and I didn’t even know. Only searching their docs convinced me that yes, this feature was indeed real, just hidden real deep…
