Does This Site Work For You In IE?

I am working on a website for a friend of a friend.
I know it doesn’t (yet) work in fully in Firefox, but was wondering if it works for others using only Internet Explorer?

Warning: The site opens with music (that what he wants) so if you are at work, don’t even bother opening this.

This is a “beta” version, and just trying to figure out if it functions on other computers, browsers and connections.

Give it a shot. Here is the link.

I am somewhat new at creating websites with both music and video and need to know:

  1. Does it work for you? (Home Page, Music and Video pages)
  2. Did it take long to download?

I use IE6 and have a 512kBps Broadband connection. The website opened straight away no problem with music playing (nice) and both the music and video pages work fine!

Thanks! That is what I need to know…there have been some problems and I need to know if it is just my computer or on the other end.

I used IE7 to open up the site. Some kind of conflict with the Quicktime and the Windows Media Player download froze everything up. Not an easy site for me to navigate through, sorry.

Again, thanks! Need to know, as I want to wrap this site up ASAP, but want to know where exactly the problems are.

I am heading off for the night, but will be checking in again tomorrow - keep the comments coming and then I will have a better idea of the status.

Opens just fine in IE7 for me, but I can’t get the darn thing to close! :smack:

Ignoring that last bit, and just FYI: It works in Safari and loads instantly on my wireless cable modem.

Thanks Johnny L.A., that is good to know!

I have intentionally kept IE6 and not upgraded to IE7 specifically to test websites.

That it worked on IE7 for Purplkid_Caterer, but not for Ice Wolf is aggravating…

My IE7’s probably cursed. Consider my result just a blip. I think when the Media Player download comes through, and my browser asked if I wanted it to come through or not, things went to pack from there on.

Works okay with FF, but I said no to the add-on download.
