Does this SMBC comic make you think of SDMB polls?

Here’s the SMBC comic in question.

F) I didn’t know Skald dabbled in cartooning.

Well, no one in the audience is arguing that you could ask for free day old bread from the bakery and thus the entire premise of the poll is false so… no.

Reminds me of The Office:

I’ll kill the baker and feed my family on his cooling carcass!

I’ll kill the schoolteacher, thus sparing thousands of schoolchildren from this suffering!

I’ll kill everyone! The absolute Utilitarian solution: no people, no pain and suffering! I’ll build a fleet of interstellar Berserker Robots to destroy all life… Sterilize… Exterminate…

I’ll have a nice quiet lunch and pretend none of this ever happened…

Yes, but not because any of our hypothetical polls are actually like that. But just because it’s pretty much the only place where I see such hypotheticals at all.

Skald’s hypotheticals for example, are not chains of cliches. Mostly they deviate from the cliches entirely, and a lot of them aren’t even morality questions.

Mmm, Pie!

I feel a bit rushed, since I only have 364 days before the poll closes.

But yes. Also, Pie.

They better not steal my bread! Or pie.

I admit, that was my first thought.

I’ve got a deal for you:

Yes - especially for those that do not include pie or cookies as an option.

Only Skald’s.
