Doesn't craigslist have standards?

I’m really shocked that this ad got posted in the first place. Sounds creepy.

Safe for work, unless your workplace has a rule that you can’t look at text ads.

It’s really more creepy and strange than anything else.

(Oh, and I’m not sure that this would go in The Pit – so I put it here – mods, move if necessary.)

I think it’s pretty funny.

I’ve seen worse on there in the past.

So I’m guessing that the answer to your questions is “no”.

Wow in my neighborhood, too.

Anyone can post anything on craigslist and they usually do. Their only standards exist through the flagging buttons up at the top. They can’t monitor every post (as a frequent browser I find myself flagging all the time). I doubt they would be as popular or casually entertaining if the most desperate of human emotions were against their standards.
Their TOS are here.

Free will and all that…

Is this legally advisable?

Are you referring to the craigslist posting or to my posting here?

I think he meant his asking “Is this legally advisable?”

The craigslist posting.

First reaction: HAW HAW HAW HAW
Then: Gaw, I hope he’s not serious.

If you spent more time on CL, you’d probably realize that it’s a joke.

Of course, if you spent that much time on it, you’d probably also want to write in asking people to beat some sense into you.

Speaking of which, I’ve got to go…
