The breed structurally looks identical to a Golden Retriever, but the coloration is predominantly black with tan interspersed. Going off my foggy memory, this breed used to be a German guard dog long ago. To the best of my recollection, its name started with an “H”; possibly close to Havagaard, but I could be way off base.

Beautiful dogs, first time I have heard of them.
Never heard the name, but I’ve seen a black and gold like in the wiki picture. Maybe even saw the single colored type but they look very generic. Beautiful indeed, and the look of intelligence in those pictures.
