He’s a 90 pound dog and very strong, with big teefers.
Bobo is a rescued American Eskimo (White Spitz.) He has a very thick coat, and he needs a lot of brushing. Eskies were bred to be companions, watchdogs, and circus performers. He’s pretty smart, but he was 7 or 8 when we got him, so he was set in his ways, including some bad habits. I don’t think we’d get another Eskie, and I don’t think we’d get another dog this old.

How often do you give your dog a bath? The Chow gets one bath a year, and the mixed every couple weeks. He needs one this weekend.
Does your dog like to be brushed? The Chow doesn’t, which really sucks because he needs to be brushed out for an hour each session. The mixed loves it almost as much as fetching tennis balls.

They’d both bark like maniacs. The mixed would retreat, but my husband thinks if pushed into a corner he’d go Cujo on them.
The Chow is very protective of me, but loves people, so without me being threatened he’d probably just try to love them to death. If they didn’t make a fuss over him as he believes he deserves, he’d probably just go lay down.
