Dogwoods, Amen at the Corner, and Green Jackets: It's Masters Time!

Ok, now that the pressure is off from the World #1 and World #2 (and the World #4 having taken himself out of it, too), who steps up to make Perry think long and hard about the shots?

Liked the mic on Cabrera’s approach on 15…“Fuck…Fuck”

That’s it! How can he not win now???

Wow on 16! wtg Perry (Cabreras wasnt bad either)

18 can be a killer

18 is an easy par when that’s all you need. It’s that birdie bit that gets everyone in trouble. :stuck_out_tongue:

If -14 wins, both Tiger and Phil would have needed to have shot 62’s to tie. Turns out their hot streaks and subsequent foulups were full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

Don’t tell Phil that…or Jean Van de Velde.(yes i know it wasn’t Augusta)

Oops on 17…I don’t really care at this point…Would love to see perry or Cabrera win…even Campbell.

ABT…anybody but tigger

Maybe not. If they posted 11 or 12 the leaders might have been sucking wind. They got better after Tiger and Phil finished.

17, on the other hand …

Just what i was gonna post.

Drama on 18 comin up!

Great Masters!

is a playoff sudden death?

Like I said: 18 is an easy par when that’s all you need (obviously, Kenny Perry wasn’t listening to my analysis!!)

Yes.

Starts at 18. If continued past 18, they play 10, 11, etc. until someone is dead.

Yes, the US Open is the only major with a full 18 the next day.

That shot coming up for Perry is impossible. Cabrera missed a chance at an outright win with that bad second shot.

The British Open (and maybe now the PGA Championship?) play a three or four hole playoff, with aggregate score over the holes determining the winner.

still has achance…

*holding breath
ooooooohhhhhh.

Playoff!

ETA: Lefty and Tiger needed 64.

I thought the PGA had gone to sudden death. Regardless, my point was that with the US Open, there is no playoff at all on Sunday. The leaders simply come back Monday morning and play a full 18 holes to determine the winner.

And we have a three-way playoff - Cabrera, Campbell, and Perry.
