Was looking for something else when I came across an article about big dolphin fishing. Is there either a fish, not a mammal, also called a dolphin and aren’t there protests about dolphins caught in tuna nets?
Got it. The Mahi-mahi looks like what the fishermen were holding up for the camera.
I was heartbroken and hysterical the first time I heard fishermen talking on the radio (shortwave, not commercial) about fishing dolphin. My father had to move the boat to take me there and show me they weren’t hunting Flipper before I’d calm down.
But yeah, they weren’t.
Damn tasty fish, too.
