Tucker Carlson, Don Lemon…who’s next? Not a good day to be a news anchor.
Maybe they swap places? Don Lemon gets the 9pm Fox News slot and Tucker joins the happy news team over at CNN.
I’ve always liked him, but after reading some of the sexist remarks he made I can understand how CNN soured on him.

It was difficult listening to Lemon on that morning show. I just want some news, he tried too hard to be a personality.

When you are a public figure and the truth is going to come out at some point, it’s better to own your truth and craft your own narrative.

Can we really accept that Tucker Carlson was a news anchor? I think that’s difficult.
That’s a valid point, if you agree that news anchors deliver, reads, or presents the “news” and refrains from adding their own editorial bent to the story with few exceptions. In that case Lemon isn’t an anchor either. I’d say very few news personalities, especially on cable news channels would fit that mold. Traditional network news anchors today (Norah O’Donnell - CBS; Lester Holt - NBC; David Muir - ABC) and maybe CNN’s Anderson Cooper, would fit that bill in my opinion.
I guess Don Lemon was past his prime.
