I don’t see this as an argument. I feel no real affinity for FDR. I think he pretty much sold out Eastern Europe. As for his buddying up to Stalin, looks like that was a colossal mistake. For the record, “rallying cries” scare the hell out of me, left or right. Regardless, the U.S. has some measure of blame in this mess. Whether it’s some official shaking hands with some murderer, or some president joking around with a muderer, you have to think that these policies have led us to where we are today.
