Donald Trump accused of marital rape

I wouldn’t have been a bit surprised if Ivana’s comment had been "Donald Trump is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.

NOT appropriate.

Your final clause wishing that on the Donald is not funny and has no place in this forum. Your leading clause, wishing harm on someone who is not even a part of the current political cycle that might encourage such shameful comments, is utterly out of line.

Do not repeat this behavior.

I have to admit my edification as well - bald spot reduction surgery… what an age we live in.

Apparently, Michael Cohen doesn’t speak for the Trump campaign…anymore.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall at Trump HQ…

Im aware that there is all sorts of weird plastic surgery, I was more shocked by the fact that Trump’s comically ridiculous hair is literally the “after picture”.

I don’t know the answers but it seems like every time there is a scandal on the internet about some old news, it was something previously covered or at least strongly rumored for years and/or enough people knew about it that it was considered old news to many. Off the top of my head- The Ron Paul newsletters, Marky Mark’s violent past, Bill Cosby to an extent, various racial diatribes (Hulk Hogan’s latest was reported on in 2012), etc.

So, Ivana is saying the rape wasn’t really a rape. Is she also denying the bit where he was pulling out fistfulls of her hair? Because that’s still pretty fucked up. I suppose a wifebeater in the Oval Office is better than a rapist, but not by a whole helluva lot.

He was harvesting for transplants.

And if she doesn’t deny it then it must be true because she’s a woman who accused her ex-husband of raping her but now insists it never happened?

As a question of law, was marital rape an actual crime in whatever jurisdiction Trump was in at the time?

New York ruling in 1984:

The former Mrs. Trump’s allegation was about a 1989 incident.

Okay. It doesn’t make a difference from a moral point of view, but that’s interesting to know.

Drag a hundred-dollar bill through a 5th Avenue, you never know what you’ll find.

No, no, no, this makes me angry and sad!

I was working on this highly specific psycho-historical projection wherein Trump won the election (with running mate Joe Arpaio) and proceeded to Palin out in 17 months.

Well, he won’t get enough swing voters now. Looks like we’re probably stuck with Jeb.

Jeb.

In case anyone is confused, the Court of Appeals is what New York calls its highest (i.e. supreme) court. It also has a Supreme Court, but that’s the trial court - what most states call a district court.
