Donald Trump says he is going to give an address on prime time tv on December 17, 2025. Are you going to watch to see what he says?

Not a word, so I expect the bombing to start any minute now.

Not for him. “EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME!!!”

I guess I should have stuck with my gut instinct.

At 25 minutes?? Not with this guy. We need an update on the vipers of Peru.

Yes. Thankfully

Anyone want to check how FAUX News is rating it?

From what I’m reading on here, it sounds like Trump decided to hold his Airing of Grievances six days early and force us all to watch (but not able to participate back).

My thanks go to those who took one for the team, watched it, and reported here. I couldn’t bring myself to watch, so I appreciate you folks keeping us up to date.

So what I gathered was that he didn’t announce a single thing, he just ranted about random crap for a half hour.

One new item is that everyone in the military will get a $1776 bonus.

Even Venezuelans are asking themselves “WTF?”

Somehow I doubt that’s in the NDAA Congress just passed.

Ok, full disclosure, I didn’t watch, but judging from what I’m hearing about the very special national address, here we have a man who has sanity in a headlock.

Pretty much. Airing of grievances plus self-aggrandizement. Everything was the worst ever a year ago, now it’s the best ever.

From the Washington Post..

I would have figured he would do something like declare war on Venezuela.

CBS literally cut into the Survivor finale for this.

I just wish the mainstream media would come out and say the word LIE. Over and over.

Ever since he was elected the first time, it has been a festival of euphemisms. Every synonym in the thesaurus under that three-letter word that says it all.

Someone on MSNOW (that looks weird) said that the networks must be pretty pissed off about the “speech” because they usually only allow the President to interrupt their schedules for newsworthy announcements and were probably under the impression it would be something like invading Venezuela. Jen Psaki (Obama’s press secretary) said he was once denied access for something he wanted to do that wasn’t deemed sufficiently important enough. But I don’t imagine they will complain to this administration.

I read the word baseless with great frequency. That word means to me it’s a complete lie.

Sure, the word lie is more emotional.

The problem isn’t which word mainstream media uses, but that swing voters no longer trust mainstream media. Their getting more emotional will only reduce their credibility.

What I do find disturbing is that the three traditional networks all broadcast the presidential address, something they stopped doing routinely in the Obama administration.

Well, as the saying goes, sunshine makes the best disinfectant
