Donald Trump's 2016 General Election Campaign

Anybody care to clue me in why Donald Trump responds to fake Twitter accounts? He just did it again and it’s pretty weird…

Trump’s original tweet:

“”@Gengm7: @jakeda @realDonaldTrump As of April this year, Hillary had spent $264,000,000 on her campaign Mr.Trump $55,000,000. self funding""

To which Jakeda responds:

@realDonaldTrump why in the hell did you include me in your tweet now I am getting a bunch of spam ! Thanks a lot. You sir are a moron!”

Here is @Jakeda’s account:

Does this guy look like an active Twitter user? His last tweet was April 2015.

Regardless… this is so bizarre, it’s unexplainable.

I wonder if it has something to do with his habit of referring to himself as “Mr. Trump” whenever he’s “quoting” someone else.

His Twitter behavior is strange. Not like Kanye West or Cher strange, where they just tweet weird things, often in caps, but strange in that he does seem to make up tweets. A Cracked writer just wrote about it:

Last week, the Trump campaign, in response to the FEC filings which showed that 10% of all campaign payments went to Trump companies and individuals, said that The Donald was going to forgive $50 million in money that he had given the campaign, turning it from a loan into a donation. NBC News says that as of their report today, that had still not happened, and nobody knows if and when it ever will.

The first comment there:

How dare you impugn the good name of Mr. Schlobotnik, sir!

I think it’s a joke, sir… like, uh, ‘Sillius Soddus’ or… ‘Biggus Dickus’, sir.

He has loyal fans anyway. (Although I did misspell. How rude of me!)

Trump is back, tell a friend

The center of attention, and he might be back for the duration. He wants everybody to discuss him, so he must be disgusting, and go back to his old shit to fling, 'cause his campaign’s just empty without the old Trump. He doesn’t have anything else. His substance is tied up in his image and his image is tied up in his racist, sexist assaults on decency and basic logic.

If he takes the pledge, he tanks in the polls. He knows what to do when you tank in the polls, and that’s to revert to form to get back in the public eye. He might be convinced to take the pledge again, but this is ultimately homeostasis, a dynamic equilibrium which will prevent him from ever running a straight campaign. He can’t even keep a straight face, let alone walk the straight and narrow, so he will continue to be the straight man for every two-bit comedian in the world. He’s going to take a pounding from Clinton in November.

Maybe those advisers were secretly in the Mexican Air Force.

Cosigned.

Heh. My impression was that by using the teleprompter and not being an idiot at tweeting that he was sounding “normal” and was finally pivoting. (Not my impression, but what the narrative was among many in the media.)

It would explain why he was lifting a bit in some polls, but thing is Trump really tanked in March when he attacked the Trump University judge as having Mexican heritage and other things like when Trump stumbled with abortion.

Then when he got enough votes to be the presumptive nominee it looked like if all Republicans, like zombies, were joining together to support Trump so he got closer to Clinton in May. Did not last as the Republicans showed that they are not really uniting, but trying to contain the damage.

A return to old Trump will work only for a good number of the Republicans, but it will remind most Americans why he should not be president.

Trump delegates plan to [bring their guns to the convention.

Oh yeah, this is going to end well.

I don’t want anyone hurt, but wouldn’t it be entertaining to see night after night of news footage showing Trump delegates being thrown to the ground as their guns were being forcibly confiscated by security goons?

Well, maybe we could have just one shot ring out in the convention hall (I’d buy someone firecrackers; that might do the trick) so that we have video of everyone hitting the deck.

That middle quote is odd in timing:

Khare expects to receive his concealed carry permit in a few days. Then he plans to obtain training from the local sheriff’s department before buying a gun.

I know it varies by state, but in mine you have your gun and go through training before you can even apply for cc. In order to apply, you have to prove you have been through an approved training program. It seems dangerous to be able to get the concealed carry permit before you get any training at all.

Okay, this says it all. It’s hilarious. (It’s safe for work)
